Christine was inspired to become a parent mentor through her own experience.

As one of Deaf Children Australia's newest Parent Mentor, Christine is eager to support families to navigate their own journey raising a deaf or hard of hearing child.

I believe having someone that's already walked this journey, walked beside you and guide you through the early days is really valuable.

Deaf Children Australia's Parent Mentor Program offers support to parents who have received a recent diagnosis for their child, or have already begun they journey.
